Abrasive grinding mounted points come either resin bonded or vitrified and are made from aluminum oxide grain.  They are used for deburring and finishing. These mounted points are a low cost alternative to carbide burrs and are dressed for perfect balance to perform without vibration or run-out.  They provide fast stock removal on ferrous metals such as iron, steel and welds.  For die grinders,  "A" shapes are designed for offhand applications, "B" shapes are desigend for light deburring applications, and "W" shapes are for medium to heavy stock removal.
