MPI maintains a complete line of rod end male and female spherical ball joint with or without studs.  The bearing raceway is made of fiber reinforced nylon and designed so that it is locked in by an annular groove-trunnion.  The spherical ball and outer member is made of low carbon steel and plated-plus treated for corrosion resistance.  Most sizes are available with left hand thread.
